
Don Baylor
Founder Mr. Baylor graduated from Alabama State University with a B.S. in Psychology. He served for five years as Environmental Compliance Director for Holcim (US). While at Holcim, he helped develop Michigan's first sustainable community in the city of Dundee, and he implemented ISO 14000 as EMS Lead Auditor. He is a registered ISO implementer and a U.S. Department of Labor OSHA trainer.
Vice President/General Counsel: Byron Perkins. In 2006, Mr. Perkins was named Co-Counsel to the Fritz Pollard Alliance (FPA), an influential group of minority sports professionals leading the charge of promoting diversity, equality and opportunity in the coaching, front office and scouting staffs of the National Football League (NFL).
Byron has received national media attention on numerous high-profile cases. He served as co-counsel in one of the largest settlement cases of racial discrimination resulting in a $192.5 million case against Coca-Cola Company. This case continues to serve as the gold standard for class-wide relief of discrimination cases, as well as for developing diversity in corporate America. Byron has served as counsel in a number of class actions including: Ingram v. Coca Cola; Robinson v. Boeing; Crum v. State of Alabama; Washington v. O'Neal Steel; Brown v. The Equitable; Campbell v. Amtrak; Allen v. Navistar; and Jenkins v. BellSouth.

In another widely publicized racial discrimination case, Byron obtained a groundbreaking settlement on behalf of his client, Kenney Edwards, against the John Deere Company. This case was featured on the Tom Joyner Morning Show by Tavis Smiley. Byron also represented American Idol winner and Birmingham native Ruben Studdard in his litigation against 205Flava for misappropriation of Mr. Studdard’s image.
Byron has appeared on National Public Radio. He has been interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Black Enterprise, The Atlanta Journal and The Birmingham News. The Fritz Pollard Association, promoting diversity in coaching and front office staffs on behalf of African Americans with the National Football League (“NFL”), selected Byron to serve as co-general counsel.
A graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Byron received his undergraduate degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences with a concentration in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctor at Cumberland School of Law.


Admitted to practice in State, Federal and Circuit Courts of Appeal, Byron is a member of The Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the National Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, the Alabama Lawyers Association, the Alabama Bar Association, and the Magic City Bar Association where he served as past president.
President / Director of Environmental Services: Alicia F. Horsley. Ms. Horsley is a 1987 graduate from the University of South Alabama with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. Her interest in the field of environmental science began in her Junior year as a co-op with TAI Environmental Sciences in Mobile, AL. Her duties were to systematically size, count, weigh, and classify invertebrates collected from public waters. The data collected was used to determine if any critical and detrimental changes in the waterways had occurred that would have destroyed the balance of waterway ecosystems. He post graduation career began in 1988 as a hazardous waste compliance scientist with the Alabama Department of Environmental Management.
She inspected over 200 facilities for compliance with RCRA hazardous waste regulations, including the groundwater monitoring requirements. Long before there was a drive for sustainable solutions, she set out to establish time saving, money saving, and waste reduction goals:
(1) Developed a Hazardous Waste Groundwater Monitoring Summary to reduce time spent evaluating the regulations and to increase consistency in the application of the regulations;
(2) Suggested effective, economical means of complying with hazardous waste regulations which reduced one company's waste disposal costs by 66%.
From 1994 to 2000 she worked in several environmental laboratories in soil, waste, and water analysis and as a project manager. In 2005-2006 as an Environmental Protection Specialist contractor with the Anniston Army Depot she was trained in sustainability and the process improvement methodologies of Lean and Six Sigma. She also gathered and coordinated data for a Green Belt project.

Political Strategist: Hezekiah Wagstaff. Mr. Wagstaff attended Alabama A&M University, and in 1973 he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Political Science; he received a Master’s Degree in Urban Studies (Community Planning) in 1974. Wagstaff’s employment history includes a wide range of diverse experiences:
(A) Over 27 years of political involvement in state and local politics (i.e., cabinet level experience with the Alabama Governor’s Office, successful legislative projects, and special consultant to the Alabama Democratic Party (Carter presidential campaign)
(B) leadership experiences in charge of several statewide advocacy groups (i.e., The Emergency Land Fund, Inc. and Alabama Migrants and Seasonal Farmworkers, Inc.
(C) coordinated educational projects (i.e., Special Internship Program Coordinator for the Alabama Center for Higher Education, worked as executive assistant to the president of the Alabama Public service Commission, primary organizer and operative that led to the creation of the Alabama New South Coalition (a political bi-partisan organization)
(D) Other areas of involvement include employment as a regional planner, press secretary, campaign manager/consultant, construction superintendent, and Sunday School teacher.
Chief Financial Officer: Clinton Harris, Sr. In 1963, Mr. Harris started his career as a sales representative for the Southeast Region with the American Tobacco Company. In 1973, he started as a sales manager of WBUL radio station which was one of the most completive stations in Birmingham, AL. He was later promoted to station manager. Mr. Harris then entered the recording industry as the Southeast Regional Promotion Director for A&M records in Atlanta, GA.
After building a solid track record and gaining invaluable knowledge of the recording industry, he built his own independent record promotion company (Chip and Save Records, Brighton, AL) in 1990. The facility includes a 332 track recording studio. His publishing companies (Mama Janie Music and Chaton Music) are affiliated with ASCAP and BMI music.
