history
Originally licensed in 1959, James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Inc. was founded in 1963. From what started as a vision of Mr. Jimmy in 1963 with a funeral home and an ambulance service, the business grew into a funeral home cemetery crematorium. The facility is housed with a large foyer, 3 reposing rooms, offices, a selection room, a preparation room and a chapel that seats 250 people.
In 1978, Dorchester Memory Gardens was established. Later in 1992, Tri-County Cremation Center was constructed with 2 selection rooms, offices and a chapel that currently seats 120 people. Fully licensed funeral directors, embalmers, certified cremation operators and notaries, we at James A. Dyal Funeral Home have several options available to you.
