Jimmy Hamilton's Teaching Philosophy

There are many ways to play good golf and have fun doing it. However, each golfer has different abilities and goals that I must take into consideration. To provide an optimal learning experience, I keep in mind each student’s unique capabilities while stressing the following basics:

  • Fundamental setup positions
  • Achieving the proper swing plane for square contact
  • Drills and exercises that are tailored to the student's needs
  • Short game techniques, trouble shots, course management skills
  • Properly fitted equipment
  • Golf fitness
  • Knowledge of golf etiquette and rules
