Thank you, for joining our family here at Small Angels Child
Care! It is our promise that together we will create a warm,
loving, and nurturing atmosphere for your child.
Our Philosophy
Why do we call it Small Angels? We feel that every child is
a gift from God and should be treated that way by love, praises,
hugs, and even kissing boo-boos. We are a Christian family
childcare home that teaches the children to love one another,
and to say their blessing at lunchtime.
We encourage parents to come to visit, have lunch, stay and
play (especially at the end of the day), make suggestions,
help out during programs, parties, and field trips be active
and involved with our program. We want your children to feel
at home here.
Although we integrate developmentally appropriate learning
into our day and evaluate the children educationally with
formal readiness in mind, the children don't think it is work
because we play to learn.
We "play hard," sing, dance, get dirty, learn social
skills, see our community and get an exposure to both the
basic and finer aspects of life. We expose the children to
a wide spectrum of adventures but maintain a secure, loving
base enabling our children to become strong, assertive, respectable,
kind and self-assured.
The North Carolina Child Care licensing process imposes certain
guidelines or restrictions in various areas to insure that
our program excels. The guidelines are described below.
Staff Qualifications

Our staff members meet or exceed the mandatory
education and experience qualifications. |

Our staff members are required to annually
attain twelve credit hours of continuing education. |

Our staff members are certified in First
Aid and CPR. |

Our staff members are required by the State
Board of Health to have a physical and a TB test prior
to employment. Our staff medical records must be kept
on file and readily available for review by the State
Inspectors. |

We have a 2-week trial period! This will give you an opportunity
to try us out, and to make sure that we are a perfect fit
