Our Company History

With over 25 years working in the construction industry, Gene Walshaw realized there was a need for a quality inspection service in the East Tennessee area specializing in existing homes. Many home inspectors have a good background in building new homes, but lack the expertise in identifying the complex problems found in homes more than 10 years old. He has inspected and supervised the repair of over 1,500 homes in a 13 county area surrounding Knoxville Tennessee. His specialty was restoring homes damaged by fire, water, and storms; one of the most difficult of all types of residential construction work. His clients range from homeowners of new homes under construction to houses over 100 years old. As the former owner of a national insurance damage restoration franchise, he has dealt with dozens of the largest insurance companies in East Tennessee for over 17 years. Gene is very well qualified to be your home inspector.
